Morning boys,

Got some updates, one good and the rest bad. Dr. Henri from Research Team 2 has agreed to help us out in his spare time, which should help lessen the blow of Anton's reassignment from last week. I know we're all spread thin here, but if we can manage to make a functional prototype before the monthly performance check from administration they'll probably give us some more funding and manpower. Now for the bad news. Protobot's syntax module has been acting up again, and lately it's been spitting out nothing but nonsense. I've attached our test logs from yesterday to this email, so check them out if you have the time. I've also been told that we've lost Level 5 Security Clearance, as "our project could put sensitive data as risk." I'm doing my best to talk to administration, but it's clear they're starting to have doubts about us. Keep doing your jobs, and hopefully they'll change their minds.

Hey Cory,

Think I might have a solution to Protobot's "gibberish" problem. I think it's reacting badly to the new encryption system we're using; you know, "Fruitbowl" or Encryption-4SY9, whatever administration calls it. I have an idea on how to fix it, so I'll try to come around this Friday and discuss it with you.
I know you're a little down after that reprimand from administration, but keep your chin up. You're making good progress.
